Hello.

Anyone that have a Ixil silencer on their GV650 and does it give a low deep tone sound? Any need for rejeting and is it worth the investment over the standard exhaust?

None, I fear, has an Ixil on his GV. For good reasons. The sound is not necessarily cruiserlike (no wonder because of the non-existing length) and they also robs of performance (no wonder because oft the non-existing length).

The IXIL-Mufflers are stylish (if you like stump-exhausts, of course), fits, if you like to present your GV in a showroom or on stage, but they are inexpedient for simple "plug 'n play" like other exhausts. In order to reach the same range of performance like with the original one you have to make changes on the ECU-Matrix. This could be a little bit expansive. Acoording to money als well as according to time.

Less expansive is the "do-it-yourself"-method, in case, you only want to get a deeper sound:

Please note, this might be not legal.

Some oft the GV-Drivers uses the Silvertail K02. With hearable better results at all, no doubt about.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, it might be an electrical problem.
